Painting by Janey Belozer.	Meet the Lesson Horses We have a selection of well-trained and sound lesson horses for use in lessons with our students and apprentices. Each lesson horse has their own "specialties" for which they are best suited. Some are excellent schoolmasters for longe lessons to work on the seat. Some are indispensable for teaching piaffe, flying changes, or learning to ride quadrille. Our lesson horses also take part in our exhibitions and sometimes compete.
